Civil Protection Department, is the CP national authority of IT in charge of emergency management, prevention and assistance. It operates on EU and INT level with CP interventions abroad, promoting international relations, agreements and technical scientific programs to improve the prevention of the man-made/natural risks. It also part of the UCPM and has promoted or organized CP exercises (i.e. MODEX) in Italy. As part of Lot 3.
